Flower Arrangement for the Week

My last flower arrangement lasted a good two weeks , but today it was looking a bit sad , so I went out into the garden to gather some more .

Sticking to the patriotic theme of red , white and blue  again ....we have had some hot but very windy days. The garden has taken quite a battering . My lovely gladioli were smashed down . I have picked a couple of them so they won't be wasted .  Everything is looking so dry in the main ornamental part of the garden . I can't remember when we last had proper rain ! I have only been watering the vegetable garden .

Just one Agapanthus flower helped to fill it out ! I hope the Gladioli will recover .

Crocosmia "Lucifer" , Blue hydrangea , Ox-eye Daisies, Pittosporum and Cotinus coggygria "Royal Purple ".

Very pleased with this and hope it lasts !
