Colder in the cottage than it is outside .

After a very rainy day yesterday , it has been nice to see some blue sky and sunshine .
Yesterday we were feeling very disappointed to find that the second fitting of yet another half of the new greenhouse roof , this time without a roof window , was a complete fail .
Rain coming in along the whole of the apex and through the other roof window .
A roof , whether it is on a shed , house or a greenhouse , is supposed to keep all that is under it dry !
This simple basic 8x10ft greenhouse cost my husband a lot of money . He bought it for me .
Anyway ....
So we had to ring and let the builders know and one of the men is coming back tomorrow to look at it .
I had to lift everything on that side out and after they had finished , I had to lift them all back inside again . Cactus collection ....one by one , I'm afraid I am going to lose many of my plants , some of which I have had for half my life . Some of which were passed down to me from my grandmother .
Trying to keep positive .
People are suffering far worse right now to natural disasters , poor health and war 🙏🏻 My heart goes out to you all .
Shame on those who are deliberately wrecking the planet and peoples lives . The U.K.news at the moment disgusts me like never before .
Went for a calming walk on the beach .
Wrapped up warm .
To simply watch the rolling sea .
Colder tonight they say . We'll light the wood burning stove later on .
