Potatoes are breaking the surface !
Growing them in tubs . Not really enough to be self sufficient , but to show the grandchildren how to plant , earth them up and have the fun of harvesting them .
I might do a couple of tubs of carrots 🥕🥕🥕...... 🐰🐇🐰....... 🤔
Yep ! 🐰 Those cheeky bunnykins have been nibbling my chives again . 🐰🐇
I need to get chicken-wire around this bed !

Nothing beats home grown spuds, I grow mine in bags as well.
ReplyDeleteYes , I still get a buzz "finding them" when it's time to tip them out ! And the children do too ! mmmm hot with melting butter and spear mint !
DeleteNo potatoes planted here yet. We are just running out of last year's harvest as they are producing long shoots.
