Cowslips and Lettuces

On my way up to the shed I spied this lovely little red Cowslip ....almost a terracotta red .

Some yellow ones also ..so pretty !

The low morning sun shining in through the rather grubby window .

 Lettuce looking good !

I took off the horticultural fleece covers , I'll cover them over again tonight . It's sunshine and showers today with a bit of hail thrown in for good measure . Brrr . It's a cold wind blowing here !  I've lit the fire back down in the cottage .

The lettuce is looking good and I might soon start picking the odd leaf or two from each one for our salads and sandwiches .

I must remember to sow another batch to keep them coming .

Refreshed the compost for these Agave pups .

Lovely Lily down by our front gate enjoying the rainy weather .

I'm feeling tired today so I'm just going to sit by the fire and do my embroidery .

So there we are !  All for today ! I'm thinking of you !

       and remember

If you're going out , wrap up warm !

If you're not going out , wrap up warm !    🀣

                                              🌦️🌧️⛈️🌧️🌈
