Sauromatum venosum 😱

 

                So overnight  this happened ! 🪰Complete with flies !🪰

      Oh my giddy goodness !  I carried it back to the table for the photo shoot .

                               🪰   ...... and the flies came along too !🪰🪰😱🪰

It is supposed to smell of rotting carrion .  🤔 It doesn't smell too bad at the moment .

Sort of musty sweet . Maybe the fragrance will develop and get stronger later on .

Slightly annoyed that it opened up while I was sleeping . Would liked to have recorded that . 

                                                 Outrageous isn't it ? !
