Migraine

Banana plants in the woodshed over winter .

✨✨Yesterday I had the most horrible migraine .✨✨ I get them about once every five years or so . So I couldn't do much at all .✨✨

Today it's not so bad , managed to do a few things in the garden .

Thinking about pulling out the Banana plants from the woodshed . Maybe next week , we'll see what the weather is doing . I gave them their first  good drink of water from the rain water butt . Well just enough to stir them from their Winter slumber .

Earthed up the potatoes in tubs .

Pricked out and potted on some teeny weeny , but very healthy looking , lavender plug plants .

Small but very healthy looking .....or I would have sent them back .

I used some good compost with perlite and grit mixed in .

I found these on Ebay - Suttons  - 24 for £10 including the postage .If I can take good and close care of them and bring them all on, then I think that is a good deal .
πŸπŸ I want to edge my vegetable beds with them to attract the bees . 🐝🐝🐝

It was quite therapeutic potting them all up . I had to gently un-twizzle the roots a little bit .

I just need to get some grit to top them all off with . I'll keep them in the greenhouse for a while until they get their roots down .

THEN

We took rubbish to the tip...I told my husband that the tip would not be open on Easter Sunday .🐰🐣πŸ₯

🐰πŸ₯Delivered Easter eggs round to the grandchildren ..yep we thought it was today ! 🀣They were delighted ! πŸ’πŸ°πŸ₯

We even had Hot Cross Buns on Friday !

Migraine's given me brain fog for sure !

It's o.k. we'll do it all again next weekend  πŸ˜ƒ

It was a cooler morning , we've had some beautiful rain ( it smells so good ! ) , to refill the water-butts, then warming up into the afternoon .

Migraine easing , foot still hurting , taken silly ankle support bandage off as it wasn't helping .

I just checked on all the seedlings and tomato plants , closed up the greenhouse windows , put the big black bins out . Bin day tomorrow .  Everything is fine .

                                              Full moon tonight .
