Did you wrap your outside tap ? I've double wrapped mine .
Bring in a bit more firewood ? I bring in a couple of logs every time I go past the woodshed .
Have you got the hot water bottles out ? Wrap up warm everyone , hats and gloves !

I can remember my grandma having a metal cylinder bed warmer that hot coals were put in. Health and safety, how did we survive?
ReplyDeleteI have got an old brass bed warming pan ....it is beautiful but I wouldn't dare use it ! These old stone hot water bottles are great though , they keep hot until morning . The thing is, if ever you think of buying one , to make sure it has the black rubber seal around the screw on lid , other wise they will leak . Also I wrap mine with a small towel fastened with a baby nappy pin .
DeleteIt is definitely getting cold and the wind doesn't help. I ended up getting some new gloves and fleece leggings today, needed something for biking.
