Now this is where it should get interesting .....
Today it is quite overcast , so we may have to wait a couple more days for this incredible leaf to fully emerge .
Meanwhile up in the vegetable garden today I harvested some beautiful French Beans .
Also a small bunch of lavender . From my new very young plants .
Enough to make myself a little comforting lavender bag to slip into my handbag .
Weather forecast - we are supposed to be having rain , but so far it has only been a meagre sprinkling .

The last photo of the leaf emerging looks like a bird in flight,
