Very short walk on the beach

 There was another little break in the wild weather . So we went down to the beach .

Waterfalls  in the cliffs .

No one in the sea today .

We had the beach pretty much all to ourselves .

I found a lonely heart .

Stood and watched the waves .

Then ran back to the car as the sky turned very dark again .

The rain lashed down and we laughed as we just made it back in time !

                            Me and my lonely heart in the car .

                                  Now he has me ..and lots of new friends  🤍

Feeling the Blues

 

Still feeling blue , I go for a walk on the beach .

Let the sound of the sea wash away the cares and worries going round and around in my head .

Swooosh ......

 Found a little Heart Stone ...... cheered me  .   A sign ?

Love Heart Stones

 I hadn't  forgotten that I,d promised to show you my small collection of Love Heart Stones this week . ...so here they are !

 I seem mostly to come across them whilst walking on our local beaches..and when I,m not actually looking for them .
 I always feel quite moved as I reach down to clasp such a sweet little gift from the sea  .

Where do they come from ? Are they hand carved love tokens ? Or part of some ancient , prehistoric sea funeral or ritual ?
