This week's "Flowers for the Table " - Aucuba japonica / Japanese variegated Laurel / the lovely yellow spotted one .... purple and pink Hydrangea blooms ...Miscanthus sinensis strictus/Porcupine Ornamental Grass /the lovely stripy one .....and Agapanthus / The Blue Lily of the Nile .
Might not last very long in this hot weather , but it doesn't matter , I have plenty of Laurel in the garden , so I can replace them .
Flowers and the greenery always make the room feel fresh , uplifting and welcoming .

DeleteI tend to keep a small pot plant on my table or a pot of bulbs, which last much longer, I too love to see flowers on a table outside.
ReplyDeleteThankyou for popping in !💐 Usually there's a whole heap of papers, magazines, mail and other rubbish on mine ! 🤪 I'm just challenging myself to keep it looking nice and to only use flowers from my garden . .....and I actually don't have a lot of flowers in the garden right now . .... well I have to really search for them .....I think my next arrangement may be wild flowers and grasses 🌻🥀🌾🌿🍀
